Jumièges 3D, une application de réalité augmentée culturelle, réalisée par la société Art Graphique et Patrimoine, vient d’être sélectionnée comme l’une des cinq applications numériques les plus innovantes au niveau mondial par le World Summit Award (WSA), compétition organisée par l’ONU pour ré-compenser les contenus numériques et internet les plus novateurs. Jumièges 3D était en compétition avec 461 autres projets numériques et internet provenant de plus de 100 pays. Les applications ont été testées du 29 au 31 aout 2013 à Tallin (Estonie) par un grand Jury. 40 projets ont au total été retenus dans 8 catégories. Jumièges 3D est la seule application numérique française à avoir été sélectionnée pour concourir pour le Grand Prix, toutes catégories confondues. Jumièges 3D permet de re-découvrir en 3D, sur site ou à distance, l’abbaye de Jumièges, en Haute-Normandie, telle qu’elle était avant sa destruction partielle, grâce au procédé de réalité augmentée mobile. Les reconstitutions ont été réalisées grâce aux travaux et aux recherches d’un comité scientifique international particulièrement exigeant. Le dialogue constant entre le comité scientifique et les équipes d’AGP a permis de faire évoluer la connaissance scientifique et historique de l’abbaye afin que les images 3D, soient la traduction la plus fidèle possible des connaissances sur le site.
