Mme Bokova cherche aussi à mobiliser la communauté internationale dans son ensemble ainsi que les professionnels du marché de l’art et des musées afin que cette interdiction prenne effet. « Il est particulièrement important », insiste-t-elle, « de vérifier l’origine des biens culturels qui pourraient être importés, exportés et/ou mis en vente, notamment sur Internet ».
