He is constantly being watched by the video cameras of his Management. Cohen never talks about himself in the singular, calling himself we — this is how he tries to get rid of loneliness. One day he is given a task — to solve the Zero Theorem, according to which people, like the planet Earth, appeared out of nowhere and will soon also disappear into an unknown abyss.

The director in his film shows us inertia in habits, in people's relationships with each other, the value of money, faith and a flimsy hope for salvation from the outside, meaningless searches for who knows what. All this is a part of modern life, and it's stupid to deny it. Gilliam word through the frames repeats the same thought - "we are gradually dying."

The performer of the main role in the film Theorem Zero Christoph Waltz brilliantly conveys all emotions. This is a unique person, not only does he take part in this non-standard project, but he also complements it, becoming the mystery of the film. He is so diligently carried away by his thoughts and desires that they gradually come to the fore.

So what finally rules the world? Chaos or calm? Most likely, harmony, and this fairy tale gives answers to all pressing questions. Only not everyone will dare to ask them...
